Dr Sarah Johnson grew up in the suburbs of Chicago (Go Cubbies!) and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Blackburn College in 2010. She obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois in 2014 and began working in small animal medicine and shelter medicine before moving to Oregon in 2016. While working in Oregon, she earned her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Iowa. She eventually made her way up north to Alaska in 2018 and now calls Chugiak home. After working all around Alaska as a relief veterinarian, she has decided to offer mobile services to the pets of Anchorage and the surrounding area.
Dr. Johnson has special interest in geriatric care, hospice care, and preventative medicine. She prides herself in treating every patient like they are her own, and she seeks to ensure that the human-animal bond is preserved in the comfort of home.
